Myande to Build the World’s First Clary Sage Continuous Extraction Plant

In August, 2016, Myande and Xinjiang Tianshan Clary Sage Spice Technology Co., Ltd signed a contract by which Myande will supply a “300TPD Clary Sage Oil Refining and Extract Extracting Equipment Line”. When completed, this processing line will be capable of yielding 200,000 tons of refined clary sage oil per year. 
Clary sage is a spiceberry belonging to genus of salvia and labiatae. It is native to Europe and was introduced to China in the early 1970s. According to incomplete statistics, the total planting area of clary sage in 2016 is less than 13000 hectares around the world. The successful completion of this project is expected to help enlarge planting area of clary sage in China, and Zhaosu City will become the largest production base of clary sage aromatic spices.
