How to Design 5,000TPD Soybean Crushing and Oil Refining Plant?

In May, 2015, Myande Group and Hopeful Grain & Oil Group successfully signed a contract by which Myande will undertake for Hopeful a major project in Taizhou city, Jiangsu Province. The new project consists of a 5,000MTPD soybean preparation, extraction, water degumming, phospholipid production line and a 1,000MTPD refining production line. This new project will not only accelerate Hopeful’s global operation initiative, but also marks a major step forward of Myande’s engineering technology and capability in undertaking large oil projects with capacity of 5,000 TPD or above.

◆Based on Yangtze River Basin to process over 10,000 Tons of Soybean Daily

Yangtze River economic zone covers Shanghai and 10 provinces including Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province and etc. with a land area of about 2.05 million square kilometers. Both population and GDP of Yangtze River economic zone exceed 40% of the whole country. Taizhou City, where the new Hopeful project is going to be built, is at he heart of Yangtze River economic zone. Hopefull Grain &Oil Group actively takes advantage of regional advantages and plans to build a grain and oil processing industrial park with area of 480 acres, which will include two 5,000TPD soybean processing production lines and two 1,000TPD soybean oil refining production lines. After the project is completed, it will greatly enhance the leading position of Hopeful Grain & Oil Group in domestic soybean crushing industry and expand grain and oil processing in Yangtze River basin. Meanwhile, it will lead to rapid economic development of surrounding cities along Yangtze River, to promote development of Yangtze River economic zone.

◆Choosing Myande after Inspecting Suppliers for Several Times

In 2003, Hopeful Grain & Oil Group built its first 5,000MTPD soybean processing line, which consists mainly of European equipment. For this new project, Hopeful (Taizhou) adopted International Competitive Bidding procedure, taking "advanced technology, reliable equipment, convenient service, successful performance" as core evaluation criteria. Experts and technical personnel from Hopeful Grain & Oil Group paid field visits to several leading oil engineering companies, both domestic and overseas. After comprehensive evaluation of technology advancement, energy-saving measures, running state of reference projects, core equipment and manufacturing platform, Hopeful finally chose Myande.

◆Core Equipment——Designed and Manufactured by Myande

In recent years, Myande has contracted to build more than 100 oil processing complete projects. Core equipment such as cracking mill, flaking mill, loop drag conveyor, spent meal drag conveyor, bucket type extractor, phospholipid dryer, combined deodorization tower independently designed by Myande have gone through many successful applications for large-scale projects and long term operation testing. The quality and stability of equipment have been highly recognized by majority of customers. Hopefull Grain &Oil (Taizhou) project will fully adopt products made by Myande instead of being dependent on imported core equipment.

Over the past few years, sales volume of Myande flaking mill, spent meal drag conveyor, loop drag conveyor and etc. has been on the rise. This has not only changed the old situation when Chinese large-scale oil projects depended on imported core equipment. In other words, the success of Myande-made core soybean processing equipment ended the long-time monopoly by foreign enterprises. It also indicates determination of Myande to promote the sound development of oil industry at home and abroad and further evidences Myande’s excellent manufacturing standards.
